We suffered damage to our roof during the recent storm. Several tiles had become dislodged and needed replacing/renewing. I rang ABC Roofing, received an immediate reply and the next day as promised, Freddie came to assess the damage . He told us exactly what was needed and how much it would cost. He also did some remedial work to make the tiles safe until he could come and complete the repair. We had a problem with our roof leaking water in to our bedroom. I called in my insurance,but they said it was nothing and was not worth calling there workers to do it. So I called in ABC for advice on what the insurance had said, and within a quick answer to my request for advice they were on the house roof pointing out all the faults which including the Ridge tiles that did not have much cement under them. This was proven when the young man got onto the roof, and started to show me how dangerous the tiles were, as he lifted some of them straight away that did not have any cement on them at all. We could not believe what we were seeing as this was the first time he had got on the roof and the first time he had touched them.He also spotted that the Vent pipe that we was not in use was leaking. Thanks to Freddie, Adam and Odin from ABC Roofing for an excellent job done on our roof. They were hard working, professional and courteous. I was particularly impressed with their communication with Freddie sending a detailed specification of what work they were planning to do. Bad weather delayed the start of work twice but straight away we had phone calls to explain the situation and to reschedule it. The team arrived for work on time on the days they said they would without any need for prompting from us.They quoted a very fair price for the time spent on the job and we have no problem in recommending them or using them for further work.Jo & John More...

Thank you to Freddy and Adam who repaired my guttering this morning. They were professional, courteous and finished the work to a high standard. Freddy is very knowledgeable having been in the profession for many years and I was very happy to follow his recommendations. I was particularly pleased that he stuck to his original quoted price even though it took slightly longer than anticipated to complete the work. Called Mr Tierney, he came gave a quote. He came to clean gutters a day later and he did an excellent job and made sure all the gutters were cleaned and checked the down pipes were clear also. Thank you.

Arranged for a quote to fix leaky slate roof. Arrived on time and gave an indication of cost. Emailed the next day with actual quote. Very friendly chap (Freddie) and did not put any pressure on me to agree to do the work. Arranged a date for the work to be done, they arrived on time. completed the work over 2 days. They left no mess. Freddie did verbally tell me the work completed has a 12 month guarantee. Only reason I did not score a 5* is that the receipt I had was lacking in detail. It simply said " This is your receipt for the work ABC carried out for you £xxx.xx Paid in full Thanks". It was on ABC letter headed paper and emailed to me the day after the work was completed. It would have been nice to have my address, the list of work completed, a date and a mention of the 12 month guarantee for the work completed visible on the receipt for peace of mind.That said, would I use ABC roofing again?.
