2SS CONTRACTORS LTD

As our build was going to take circa 5 months, we have small kids and were going to stay in the house during the build and I was working from home, it was very important that we find the right contractors, who would not only delivery a very high-quality product, but also make our lives as easy as can be during the build. We absolutely found exactly that in Svajunas and Svajune from 2SS Contractors.

We found 2SS Contractors via Brak and from the first interaction we had with them, they stood well out from the rest of the builders we invited to quote. They were very well organised and very professional in all their dealings with us. – And super nice people too!
They requested our plans beforehand and came to the 1st meeting at our house very well prepared, having a very good idea of exactly what we wanted to do.

They were able to start not long after we agreed on the scope and costs, which suited our time scales perfectly. It was great that they were willing to plan around our timetable and needs, not the other way round.

From start to finish, the entire build process was absolutely seamless and very well organised. Svajunas was on site at least once a day making sure things are progressing and discussing any adjustments/issues with us making substations (e.g. swapping our WC and utility spaces around to better make use of the space) and always keeping costs in mind.
He was great at telling us when to buy what finishes, always gave advice on what to buy and what not, where to buy and put us in contact with his trusted suppliers, which were were also very happy with.
We ended up making a couple of variations, e.g., redoing our daughter’s bedroom too. Svajuans was great at getting this fitted into the schedule, making sure the tempory loss of a bedroom worked around our needs and priced it very well.

Our build ended on time and on budget and was done to a very high level,

The workers employed by 2SS Contractors were all great too. All very polite, very considerate and always had a smile and friendly faces. They were also completely trustworthy and we had no issues leaving them unattended in the house.

We still have the loft and some other works to do, and no question who we will ask to do it.
