Our new dog Fen came with very long nails. Jo was very gentle and calm with our old girl during her first visit. Fen hardly noticed what was happening and had no hesitation in trotting straight in for her pedicure on her second visit.

George hates having his claws clipped. Jo was so patient with him and got them filed down with some gentle coaxing. She is very experienced in dealing with anxious dogs so is a great person to be grooming your dog. What do you love most about your job?
Helping people understand how their dogs think & how to communicate effectively with them, so being able to help build their relationship with their dog.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Lucy, one of our rescued greyhounds, arrived here as an emergency rescue with many issues.. I had to find answers & solutions to help her, then realised it applied to many dogs - Lucy became the most contented dog & my best friend.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am not just a dog "trainer" but also a behaviourist.. to train a dog successfully requires an understanding of how your dog sees the world & how he/she thinks & learns. I explain every method of teaching how it relates to your dogs ability to understand & learn. I use positive reward based methods, all my training is carried out at our centre in Newquay.
