My dog Macchi has developed a real connection with Deanna. She is caring and affectionate and he is very happy to see her on arrival. Deanna has also incorporated strict Covid protocols to ensure she safely enters the home and sanitizes leashes, door handles etc. Aside from all of these great reasons - Deanna has adjusted her scheduled fo help us out with last minute requests too. Walkin' Paws exceeded our expectations BY FAR! This was the first year that we've had to use a catsitting service. Deanna came to our house, met our cat, and gave us a great overview of what to expect while we were away. She tailored communication to our preferences and carefully noted all of our instructions. We were very pleased to get status updates along with some photos by e-mail while we were gone. Upon returning to our house, Deanna had swept around the litter and cleaned our cat's food mat. Deanna has cared for Chestnut often over the last 3 years. She arrives when scheduled and not only takes Chestnut for walks but does her insulin shots as well, changes her water and gives her some cuddle time. The status notes Deanna leaves every visit let us know how Chestnut has done while we are away. Our neighbours tell us how content Chestnut is with Deanna each time they see them together.
