We recently put our very much loved cat Taz down. Dr Rowe was there us when we made the decision. She was so comforting and knew exactly how we were feeling. we have had 2 experiences with NHVH. first time our little girl had something stuck in her throat. NHVH did some xrays on her to determine what was going on and referred us to CARE where they had a specialist remove it. they were so caring and attentive and called the next day to check in on her. we more recently took our girl in for a teeth cleaning and they were so awesome! gave us a free consultation before scheduling and did such a great job with the cleaning and took such good care of our girl! its just too bad we live out of town or they would be our regular vet More...

These guys were amazing!!! We took our dog in this afternoon to have X-Ray's done. Once they were done they were detailed in explaining what's going on and answered all questions we had. I am so grateful for Nolan Hill Vet and Spa. The cat grooming is excellent and flexible to what my cat needs. My cat is big, with very long hair He is crabby and kicks He does not like to be combed. Every summer has been a struggle for him until we found this place and this groomer! The cat groomer is excellent here Highly recommended !!! This is the only place I have found in Calgary that is willing to meet my cats needs....he needs a trim....not a lion cut! Thank you so much!!!! More...

I took Eddie for his nails to be cut. On arrival, the front office staff greeted Eddie by name without me introducing ourselves. Dr. Rowe informed me that Eddie has swelling under his eye and that could be from a tooth root apse’s. How thorough Dr. Rowe and the staff are, they don’t just attend to the grooming, they notice anything else that is not quite right. I was very impressed with the welcome sign (day of surgery) and how friendly and approachable the staff are. You can see they are passionate about their job and the love for the animals, which is rare these days. There is an amazing atmosphere in this clinic. Dr. Rowe informed me that Eddie has a heart murmur and that he could not have the normal anesthetic medication. After the procedure and our conversation, I can honestly say that I found Dr. Rowe to be honest, comforting, patience, passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely care’s and goes above and beyond, always puts your pet’s needs first. She showed me the x-rays, the before and after pictures, which they emailed, including the lovely summary sheet. I even received a follow up call the next day. Eddie LOVE’s her and the Staff. Such a fantastic clinic and the most warm welcoming staff!! I just started coming here with my new puppy and I am blown away by how amazing Dr. Rowe is! It's so refreshing to have such a knowledgeable and approachable vet that takes the time with your animal. We took our cat Jett there after seeing another vet who did nothing other than take her blood work and no follow up. After talking to some friends we took her to Nolan Hill Vet Clinic. Dr. Rowe is AMAZING! She was very friendly, approachable and in layman terms "gave it to us straight" which I appreciated. She went above and beyond for Jet, even taking the time to answer all of our followup calls and emails about how to do injections. Well all i have to say is thank God for Nolan Hills Vet. We have a 6 mth old border collie that badly injured her foot, and this canine houdini has somehow taken off her cone 3x, ripped her bandage off 4x and ripped some stitches out all in a matter of days. Nolan Hills Vet has been our saviour, from communicating thru fb messenger, to a phone call to check up on our fur babes condition, to recently fixing what our dog had tampered with and is finally now on the road to recovery. This is one great clinic. For many years now, I have been using Vets to Go for home visits for my cats, but recently thought for routine shots I would take my little Bichon Shitzu into the clinic, as its close and she doesnt get nearly as stressed as the cats about leaving the house. I had seen the place from the outside, but had never ventured in , i was shocked when I walked in - it was gorgeous. It doesn't look like your typical vet clinic - it feels more like a high end spa inside with thoughtful furnishings and colours. I enquired about the clinic and Lori the lady at the desk took me on a brief tour ( how nice) and showed me around. I was impressed.  The whole place was quite amazing.  I booked my dog in. About a week later I brought  " Twinkie" in.  The day we arrived - I noticed a chalk board on the floor of the lobby welcoming all the furkids in that day - Twinkies included - written in brightly coloured chalk - how sweet. She was weighed right in the lobby simply by walking over to a weigh scale that was inset into the floor - then we headed into a little room for her exam. Dr. Rowe and Lori were so good with her. Today - I had to bring my cat in for an ultrasound - this was something that i had been dreading as my cats don't leave the house and I knew it was going to be  stressful for her. They very kindly allowed me to be in the room for the whole procedure to assist in calming her, and the vet was there with the tech for the whole thing The team there is wonderful - so nice, so caring and the clinic is truly the best I have ever been to. This is an amazing clinic - different in so many ways - it doesnt feel "clinical - it has a very warm homey feel inside and the staff are genuine, kind and professional. Dr. Rowe is wonderful and Lori at the front desk is sweet and professional. This is the best vet clinic I have ever been to. So many details make this place special, from the signage that welcomes the furkids to the clinic that day, to the fact that it feels like you are in a beautiful home, to the genuine happy vibe from all the staff - this place is special. Wow! What an amazing experience with all of the staff here. Dr. Rowe is fantastic. I had to take our pooch in for an emergency visit as he hurt himself and was not himself. She did a thorough exam and put him on a recovery plan. I'm so glad that we didn't wait any longer to become new clients at this practice. I changed vets to Dr.Danielle Rowe as I was not currently happy where we were going..She is very kind,knowledgeable and thorough. ..She made me and my pup feel welcome and addressed our concerns with his allergies...Didn't try and sell me expensive treatments,tests or foods which the previous vet did..They even sent me a summary of his visit in a detailed report card style outlining everything we discussed and treatment plans.I will be taking both my dogs there from now on for care and grooming....Very Impressed!! We had brought our cat because we thought she might be having some trouble with her teeth, and her breathing being a bit irregular. We took our dog in for a dental cleaning and I am very impressed. First of all, my dogs teeth look amazing. I can't believe how clean they are! Second, my dog was treated so well. I loved the summary sheet I got with the before and after pictures of her teeth, her progress and monitoring while under anesthetic as well as her Xrays. Third, I got a follow-up phone call the next day to check up on her.
