We always take Titan to get his hair cut there. They are quick and do a wonderful job. We love this place, they really care about your dog and it shows!

I am thrilled with the grooms on both of our dogs. The staff really listen to your requests and the shop isn't chaotic like many other groomers. My only regret, we forgot to tip! Will definitely be coming back and making up for it next time. More...

Over the last 15 years, we have taken two of our dogs to Mucky Pups. Our Cairn terrier, who had suffered a terrible injury, was treated with care and affection. Our most recent creature, a very funny looking, abused Calgary rescue little dog came out looking like the Princess that she thinks she is. We moved back to Calgary from Edmonton and was looking for a new groomer. We didn’t have much luck with the first place we went to, but Mucky Pups turned out great! ! I was taking my newly rescued chihuahua (Ivy) to another salon to have her nails trimmed and wasn’t happy. My friend recommended Mucky Pups and I dropped in, Ivy was taken right away (even though they were clearly busy) and Kim did a beautiful job trimming and dremmeling her nails. The other place didn’t even offer dremmeling. I will drive out of my way to go to Mucky Pups and would recommend them to anyone. The dogs coming out looked beautifully groomed too. More...

These are the only people I take my poodle to now. They seem to be the only ones who know have to deal with the fur in their mouth and make poodle cuts look smooth and not choppy

My dog has received about 5 or 6 cuts from this shop and I have been happy with the outcome each time. The prices are reasonable and, although my dog does not enjoy the experience of going there, he always ends up looking great and acting pretty happy when I pick him up (not too traumatized:)). I have taken my little Remi to Kristina at Mucky Pups twice now and each time I am truly blown away with the amazing service I recieve. They are so professional each time I come in, and Kristina takes such good care of Remi. My dog is a little on the timid side, but each time I drop her off I am more than comfortable because I know she is in amazing hands. I am never disappointed with Remi’s grooming; Kristina 100% knows what’s she’s doing when it comes to my fluffy Keeshond. I will never take her anywhere else. More...

My 13 year old Toy Poodle, Snowy had a groom with, I believe her name was Debbie. It was FABULOUS. Snowy has been seeing Petsmart every 6-8weeks for 13 years. I had been concerned about Snowy getting older and the small, cramped, and hectic atmosphere of the Petsmart salon would be too stressful for her at her age. I noticed the stress seemed to be getting to her. Plus, her last two grooms she has come home from Petsmart with an awful stomach bug, requiring antibiotics and bloodwork at the vet. I voiced my concerns for Snowy's health in her old age with Mucky Pups appointment staff and she immediately recommended Debbie. Front desk staff told me that most (all?) of Debbie's clientele is senior dogs and that she would absolutely be the best fit. Upon dropping Snowy off, I had a wonderful conversation with Debbie about my concerns and also my preferences regarding Snowy's haircuts. Debbie was fabulous and VERY personable. She listened to every little concern and took everything to heart. She was VERY fast and I was very pleasantly surprised when Snowy was finished her groom in only two hours. I picked my beautiful Snowy up and she looked fabulous! She had adorable pink bows in her ears and Debbie had followed my (ridiculous lol) instructions to a T! The front desk lady went to the back to grab Snowy, and Debbie poked her head out of the grooming salon and said "Bailey, Snowy did wonderful, she was so calm and nice to groom!" I was just overjoyed. What customer service! She called me by name, and put my mind at ease about Snowy's groom too. The real magic came afterwards. Usually in the car ride home, Snowy is a maniac. She is whining and crying and licking me and just plain old freaking out. I had come to expect this, as it was the norm after our 13 years at Petsmart. But not this time. Of course she was excited to see me and gave me a bunch of kisses, but she wasn't crazy or stressed. Her eyes didn't look wild. She was just happy, clean, and content. At $63, this groom was a steal for Snowy's beautiful haircut and my peace of mind, for sure. We will be forever customers of Mucky Pups. Thanks Debbie! I've been bringing my poodles Danny and Coco to mucky pups for a few years now. Coco is blind and has separation anxiety when taken away from Danny. They understand this and do a great job of keeping him calm! Recently I started looking around to save a few dollars and severely regreted it. After taking them back to mucky pups I'm even more pleased with they job they do! Perfect clean paws, and even the fur that ends up curling under their chops is expertly done! They are always excited to see me, but at mucky pups they don't seem desperate to run out the door, which says to me they really do treat them well! More...
