I engaged Mairead as an Interior Designer to renovate and redesign my kitchen/dining area, utility room and three bathrooms at my London property.
I am really happy with the outcome of her more open plan kitchen/dining area design which gives me more freedom of movement and connection with the dining area. Her choice of a modern handeless kitchen with marble finish makes it functional and beautiful
Her clever redesigning of my bathroom on the first floor has resulted in creating more space for the bedroom. Her choice of traditional fittings in the bathrooms and paint colour throughout the house greatly enhances my property.
I decided on Mairead to carry out the project as I was impressed by her proposal, her enthusiasm, and creativity. She was also very approachable and open to discussion. Apart from the design she sourced all the elements of the project and organised all the tradespeople.

What’s your interior design process?
My design process begins and ends as a collaboration between the client and myself. I will be creating a space tailored to suit your lifestyle and the aesthetics that I will be creating.
There are usually five stages of the process, depending on the scope of work at hand.
Inception is understanding your style of living, needs and aesthetics. I do this by creating a shared board using Pinterest, magazines or other mediums that I believe will suit my clients best—working together to establish your ideas and inspiration and forming different ways to create this.
Once I have a feel of my client's needs, and you are happy to move forward we then move on to the schematic design stage, this entails breaking down the scope of work and budgeting out the project in phases for you. At this stage, the client can expect to visualise the concept and materiality of the project, through furniture selection finishes and material boards.
Once these schematic stage has been worked out, I then move the project forward to the design development, where I will finalise all the elements of design from floor plans, elevations , furnishing packages and 2D Renders of your space. All my clients receive a full design package at this stage and small tweaks can be made to the design if necessary.
From here on we move into the project management and install stage to get the new space completed for you, and ready for you to start enjoying it!
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I am a bit of an all-rounded and have been lucky enough in my career to have been able to work worldwide and gained experience working with traditional to contemporary style homes, both styles have their own unique way of expressing themselves through design which I love.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is getting to do the two things I love, working with people through design, being part of a process from inception to completion and witnessing each design become a beautiful reality tailored to that client.

My services can be provided remotely, depending on the project's scope. I am pretty flexible with my clients, and most furniture packages and spacial layouts can be done remotely.
Design Concept Development
We will work closely together to understand your project's needs and create a long-lasting design that meets your criteria.
Space Planning
Once the needs and criteria of your project have been identified, space planning will begin. This package will include the layout of the spaces of the design scope to maximize the space within your home.
Furniture Packages
I will supply a complete furniture package to you, including your concept design, the spatial layout of rooms, the selection of furnishings and materials, along with 2D visuals of the spaces. You will also receive an order sheet, furnishings pricing, and finishes schedule.
Installs
I will also be available for onsite installation and quality check of all furnishings and deco if necessary and any aftercare you may need.
