Reading and math are important paths to education, one that opens doors and endless possibilities. At Lucaya Tutoring, we have qualified staff who can assess our clients in this area. A course outline will then be tailored for each client, providing a successful path to their educational pursuits.

Have you always wanted to learn how to converse in English? This is the class for you. A fun, warm, and inviting environment will leave you excited to continue conversation, and become fluent in the english language. This class, will provide you all the basic terms, and phrases needed to begin a conversation in English. In time, and with additional lessons progress, you will be able to use large vocabulary words, and have the confidence, to communicate on any topic. IELTS preparation also available

Each 30 minute block will allow your child to hear a story but, before each lesson we will work on a sound of the week. This sound, will be taught by presenting a sound and learn things that start with that sound. Once the sound is remembered we will add an additional sound. This is in direct preparation for reading. Once 15 sounds are memorized an introduction to phonetics will begin.

Learn the sounds of each letter, words associated with them, and the acknowledgement of 15 letters to be applied to reading. We will continue this process, and help your child in their very first successful steps,to becoming a reader.

Reading is an important life tool, that opens the world. It helps us to discover new things, and learn about our interest. Reading comprehension can be difficult, but it is the most important tool in being a great reader. This lesson, provides reading and comprehension questions to help your child focus on what they reading. Each question is tailored to the story and will help our readers to focus on the questions, who, what, where, when, how and why.

Reading, and Grammar will be divided into two part lessons. The first part, will focus on learning different forms of grammar in depth, (ex. nouns, pronouns, preposition, etc). The second part of the class will focus on using the learnt grammar to translate into reading.

This class will focus primarily on the art of creative writing, essay writing, comparison and contrast, and factual essay writing. We include a comprehensive understanding of how grammar works and should be used in writing.

Come and join, a small home daycare with a qualified Montessori teacher. We will learn fine and gross motor skills, letters, sounds, numbers, puzzles and of course arts and crafts.
