El Designo

About

Marc is an graphic designer & illustrator with over 20 years experience, based in the northern climes of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was a visual arts instructor at MacEwan University, has launched a greeting card line, self-published a science fiction book and founded his award-winning studio, El Designo. He takes inspiration from 1980's technology, music and movies, and loves to dive into research and history for his projects. Using his years of applied graphic design knowledge, he distills information then combines it with illustration to create clear visual communication.
 
Marc's clean, bright illustration style has been used by publications throughout Canada. His bizarre greeting cards sell in boutiques from Vancouver to Toronto and his corporate clients span Canada & the United States.


When not illustrating, Marc fires up his own original Atari console and watches 1980's wrestling. He treasure hunts at local flea markets and samples German gummi candies from the local european market.
