Mental Health Counselling
Denise’s emphasis is the integration of the whole person (thoughts, emotions, behaviours and the existential – core beliefs and values).
Denise works from a person centered stance, working collaboratively with the client toward identified, specific goals for counselling. She works from a CBT (cognitive behavioral) framework integrating elements of clinical hypnotherapy, narrative therapy, brief solution based therapy, mindfulness, bibliotherapy, and homework as appropriate.
She comments: “I work hard to provide a safe, supportive and confidential space so my clients can grow and achieve their goals. My goal is to help the client gain greater clarity which in turn allows for further personal growth and fulfillment.
Her love for health & wellness inspires her to continue to pursue ongoing training yearly in the latest therapies and teachings.
