What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We provide bookkeeping and tax preparation services to a variety of small businesses and self-employed people. This includes payroll, GST/HST and PST filing, organizing of receipts, recording sales, preparation of cheques or other payments and many other services.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Your business is typically your passion, and many business people are not passionate about the bookkeeping part. It's a necessary evil for most, so a great accountant will relieve the stress of keeping records and dealing with the financial stuff and ensure the owner is well-informed about how their business is doing.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the excitement that comes with young people building their businesses. I love being a mentor and helping people to avoid the mistakes I have made and to guide them through the laberynth of government and taxation laws.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have never been comfortable with the idea of being an employee, where all my ideas and hard work benefit someone else.
