Hello, I am Interior Designer from New Zealand now living in Australia. I have worked in the Interiors industry ever since I finished my studies in 2016. I have worked in Wellington, London and now Melbourne which I am loving and ready to take on some freelance work to expand my projects and meet new clients who I can help create beautiful spaces for.

What’s your interior design process?

I would definitely say the whole process from start to finish is going to be different with each job. But I would always like to sort out all of these details from the initial project meeting and then following that, the process could include or exclude the following:
Initial design conversation with the client - either in person or phone
Create initial concepts - the scope of work will depend on the initial conversation
Present ideas to the client - this could include detailed plans, 3D model, furniture schedules, samples, pricing - depending on what was initially discussed
Discuss the next steps - either make any changes necessary or go ahead with signed off schemes
Depending on the initial discussion, either I project manage the job and orders or pass on quotes directly to the client.
Keep in contact until after installation to ensure everything is up to the clients standards / expectations.

Which interior design styles can you cater for?

Happy to cater for all design styles and make suggestions based on what I feel would suit each space.

What do you love most about your job?

I have always loved meeting new people from this job and learning about their spaces, what they are looking for and how they use it. And from there, really creating something special that will change the way they use and see their spaces. This could be from something as small as a new armchair, one full room or a full new whole house scheme.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Ever since studying Interior Design, I have been working in multiple countries and for different companies - with different design styles, different processes, different clientele etc. From these different experiences, I feel like I am now at the stage to take on my own challenges and I am confident and excited to take on my own projects to see how far I can go and how many new clients I can help.

Why should our clients choose you?

My passion for design and interiors is always growing and this is all because of the clients I've worked with, spaces I've worked on, travelling I have done and things I am constantly learning along the way. I will do everything I can to work within budgets, timeframes and expectations because my main goal is to always listen to the clients wants/needs, continue to create beautiful spaces that can be enjoy everyday. For anyone that chooses me, I will be readily available for any questions, queries throughout the process and will always be open and honest about expectations.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I am happy to work remotely/online as I am based in Richmond, Melbourne. But for projects based in Melbourne, it's always to meet clients and see spaces in person if possible- I am flexible on this depending on how the clients would like to work.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I am willing to work in whichever way the clients are most comfortable. Happy to wear a mask when meeting in person if necessary, or just keep things over the phone. Always flexible on this.
