What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We provide education, tax and business advisory services for family-owned, private business owners and investors.
We deal with those owners and investors operating and involved primarily with trusts and companies, generating annual turnover between $500,000 and $2,000,000.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
It’s never just about tax.
The right accountant will also have experience and wisdom in relation to many issues a business owner will face and therefore be in a position to provide guidance based on the circumstances being encountered.
The right accountant also provides an education sounding board in explaining various financial details to the owner/investor so he/she can gain a greater understanding of their affairs and make decisions with the right information in hand.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Business owners will always face challenges, yet they’re the engine room of a country’s economy.
Without them, things tend to grind to a halt.
Like many who start a business, I did so because I believed I had something to offer the right people, which would provide value and or a solution to issues they may have been experiencing.

We sometimes provide a different tangent to things.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, we can provide services online. Video-conferencing, digital signatures, electronic sending of documents. We try and make it easy for our clients.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Because we’re primarily an online business, COVID-19 didn’t have much of an effect on us.
Whilst we were in constant contact with our clients to discuss their business, this didn’t necessitate actually physically being in the same room.
Education
We take the time to discuss a business’ financial information with the owner so he/she has a greater understanding of what the business numbers are telling them.
This then allows the owner better information on which to make important decisions and ultimately grow the business.
We also run workshops for the key people in an organisation, as well as those wishing to commence a business, explaining the interactions between various financial areas of a business and the impact of various financial decisions on the growth of a business.
Tax
We look after and discuss the tax side of things for businesses operating primarily through company and trust structures.
Advisory
We take a holistic view of your overall affairs.
This means working with other professionals who have the expertise in various fields, such as legal and investment.
Yet, we also offer a higher level of service for those clients who want to take advantage of this, where we incorporate monthly or quarterly meetings and discuss performance metrics and future actions.
