I'm happy to hire a cleaner for cleaning seven days a week and to pay above bare minimum wage because it's a tricky job, and as someone with experience in cleaning I can testify that occassionaly it is a very difficult field because of abusive employers/clientel. When using for ndis they always with out fail send you a late payment message the day after they send the invoice. They won't send the invoice to your plan manager. The first lady that they sent was great she was energetic and friendly. I sent a glowing review. Then they sent a lady who just didn't care and she was the one they kept sending. More...

WHAT WAS DISCUSSED BEFORE HIRE, WAS NOT THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. I WOULD NOT REHIRE FROM THIS FIRM AGAIN .AT $ 55 PER HOUR I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED BETTER. I am mostly happy with the service I receive. My only criticism is that the cleaners don't always use the right products (such as window cleaner vs disinfectant) and Jarvis can't guarantee the exact time that the cleaner will arrive (usually a 5 hour window). I do recommend the company though, I look forward to my weekly clean! More...

I hired Jarvis after being recommended it by Bark.com. It was definitely a very disappointing experience! First cleaner did not show up, got a call two hours after she was supposed to start saying she was sick. Jarvis organised a replacement a few days later and she was extremely slow to complete a few tasks. It took her over two hours to wipe down my kitchen (which was not that bad). A new cleaner was then allocated and she arrived on time but seemed to rush through and completed 3 hours work in less than two. She then left the cleaning products where she used them, wet clothes in the sink, mop in bathroom etc. I had to pack away after she left. I persevered and the same lady came the next fortnight, once again completing her work in under 2 hours whilst I was being charged for 3 hours.
The next fortnight, she did not turn up and I received no call or explanation. Jarvis however, took my money. The same thing happened the next fortnight.
I finally gave up and cancelled.
So disappointing! More...

I can only speak of setting up the trial clean which doesn't happen until friday. Hopefully I can get a better hourly rate once we accept company on permanent basis.

$44/hour per cleaner!!! Thats a yearly salary of 80k after tax! Thats a yearly gross salary of almost 250k! For a cleaning job… unfortunately I am not willing to pay these exorbitant wages, for someone who wipes my floors and does not even understands English

I recently had a baby and I know my house needed a good clean. Your butler tried to clean most of it and I didn’t expect it to be 100 percent perfect. But he tried to rush around a few things and basic things like glasses and all are not clean. 

I won’t say I had a bad experience but it was not exceptional as well. 

Please see the picture of my mirror. It was better before cleaning.

And few other things as well he has missed.

I would appreciate if someone else can come and fix the remaining issues.

They sounded very professional, reliable and efficient

They confirmed my booking and then did inform me that they actually hadn't found a cleaner until I contacted them after the cleaner was supposed to have arrived. They then did rebook someone for the next day which was appreciated. However, I chose them because they said it would be okay, on the phone, if the cleaner cleaned my house and my neighbour's (I checked multiple times on the phone when I made the booking that this was okay) - but afterwards they then sent me an angry message saying that this was not okay (but they had not noticed the note taken by their phone operator that said that this was the nature of the job I requested). Jarvis was really easy to communicate with and the cleaners they provide are friendly and punctual.

Our cleaner knew what was required and worked hard to achieve just what was required of him. Customer service was detailed and easy.

We had Leah, she’s excellent. However, I was disappointed in the scheduling as this is the second time there have been significant delays and it means I have to rush her and I miss my own appointments. I have requested first appointment of the day moving forward so hoping this is honored by whoever does the scheduling/rosters. I only budget 3 hours so what is not done in that time, I do. I received a call from this company and booked and the lady explained if I pay $5 more per hour I could get express booking. Which I did. They assembled me a “butler” to clean my house “ for 8:30am. First of all that person came at 7:30am and asked me if he can start earlier which I don’t mind. After being upstairs I came and check and got shock after 2 hours cleaning he didn’t even manage to clean 1 bathroom. 2 hours for 1 bathroom? He was standing barefoot in my bath and spraying water everywhere. He actually put my upstairs house under water. My wooden floors being all under water. He put all the shampoo bottles on the floor and was standing inside the shower and it was a mess. I asked him why he didn’t manage to clean anything and he said that the mop isn’t good enough. I was devastated, he insult me. I rand the company and they promised to sort it out. Never rand back. I had to ask this person to leave my house and it took me hours to clean up his mess. Great comms - coming next week so TBD on the recurring cleaning service; very excited!

Their customer service is screwed up. I have previously used Jarvis directly but since they were totally non responsive this time, I tried Bark and got their call within minutes.

I have emailed them. Texted them. Called them. They didn’t get back to me and addressed the issues. Yes they are prompt in getting back to you when it concerns them. Their focus is to catch more clients and get their payment details for auto deduction. I had so much confusion getting one visit organised via Bark. They selectively got back to me only regarding payment skipping all my concerns. Their rep on phone who took the booking agreed on 35/hr plus 2 subsequent free visits because I was booking through Bark. That visit was a no show. I left another clean request on Bark, I got a call again within mins and that’s where I ended up complaining to them. I couldn’t reach out anyyywhere to Jarvis while I waited for hours for my cleaner and wasted my day. For compensation Jarvis offered me 50% off next visit which but the cleaner who showed up was very average. Just gave a wipe down which I can do myself in between major cleans.

It was a 2 hr visit. With a 50% off it should have been $ 35 but they invoiced me $43. I again had to wait to hear from them. Their team is messing up payments. If you make a booking please ensure they are charging you right. I prefer direct deposit, they were unable to deduct $43. I made the payment myself as agreed. And it’s been days I am still seeing an outstanding $43 on my Jarvis account. I have been asking about the next free visits and again they are completely ignoring.

Please note this is my 8th or 9th experience with Jarvis. 2 or 3 were a no show. But they rectified the problem. Once they sent a male cleaner and my strict preference was a female. I had a cleaner who did 3 visits. Caused a damaged and multiple accidents at home but Jarvis took care of it. I have had 4 pleasant visits. The rest were frustrating as hell. They provide a very professional service and the cleaner that was assigned to us did a great job - really pleased with the result!

The young lady who cleaned did a good job, but could use a bit more supervision. Will give her another go. I also like cleaners in a uniform but that does not effect how well they clean.
