We can gain strength, flexibility, endurance (not just in the lungs and heart but the nervous system too), balance and much more through Yoga and other mindful practices. Yoga can be surprisingly beneficial. It is not just stretching. It can give you a workout that will blow your mind and give you a strong but toned and lean body, a more focused and clear mind, higher self esteem, and a calm presence. The teacher and trainer at this studio is Natalie Buchi, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. Natalie studies martial arts and was a kickboxing and fitness instructor for years. She works with a variety of people with weight challenges, nutrition advice, body image issues, proper muscle toning, flexibility of the body and mind, and other issues they might have in life that keeps them from their desire for a healthy lifestyle. She also offers bodywork sessions to help smooth out the tissue, educate the muscles to support the skeleton and release any other tangles in the body. It's a great way to reward yourself after committing to your health and wellbeing, following through and finding the motivation to keep up. The studio is also a Yoga school and offers teacher trainings for those interested in learning all about Yoga and how to maintain the lifestyle they embrace and if they want, teach it to others. The studio also offers small group yoga classes with a maximum of 9 students. Each class is designed around what the group needs.

What do you love most about your job?

I get to teach others about a path to wellness that has been helping me for 19 years now. It works and I love seeing the freedom my clients and students reach when they start living life without all of the perceived limitations, fear, guilt, or shame we can all posses. I love connecting with people, being real and providing a space for people to feel comfortable and safe enough to be real as well. It is then that I start to see changes that are profound. Not only do I practice this and experience it, I love seeing students and clients experience epiphanies or let go of pain they've been carrying for years. When we stretch against the edges and resistance of muscle, ligament, and tendon, we also stretch against the boundaries and ignorance of our own minds and hearts and in the stretching, painful as it sometimes is, we expand, we grow and we change.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I wanted to share what helped me so much with other people. I am good at what I do and I also have a very strong understanding of the scientific as well as holistic approaches to a Yoga practice and how to make it applicable to people from all walks of life. I wanted to provide a safe place to talk about the stuff we try to push away or don't want to address. When we are aware of what we need, even if it is scary to us, it is nice to have tangible tools that give us an opportunity to directly address them through various process that do not involve thinking or reliving them. The body has an intelligent system all on its own.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have studied many styles of Yoga. I understand some of the darkest pains of life and I am able to relate to many people regardless of their belief system, perceived limitations, or learning style. This is my lifestyle and it is rooted in ancient wisdom that has proven itself effective for thousands of years. We've only started to recognize this in the last century or so and even more so in the last 30-40 years. With a combination of my knowledge base and study as well as my personal practice and consistent application, I am able to guide people through a healing process that starts with the body and as a result, our minds start to quiet down. When we are free of all of the clutter, we can live from our authentic selves and not from our experiences or what we identify with.
