Teaching is all about creating a safe growth container so that students can feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and express how they feel and think during the lesson. I love having a relationship with my students and understanding where they are coming from. This allows me to find unique ways to help my students succeed.

I do online lessons through zoom, and it has been working really well over the last two years. Students make big progress with ongoing online lessons, group lessons, virtual concerts, and making recordings. Now I teach students all over the world and this brings more opportunity to connect worldwide without having to travel!

Lesson with You made sure that it was as easy as possible to sign up and receive quality lessons at a fantastic price. Their free trial lesson allowed me to feel comfortable with taking my time to interview and make sure my vocal teacher was right for me before continuing with them. Their professionalism is unmatched, and they were very flexible with my crazy schedule (I'm quite hard to reach sometimes). 10/10 recommend these people; they will make sure you are taken care of, no matter your goals.

It was one of the best decisions ever made to reach out to Lessons With You to continue taking voice lessons after having given up singing for a few years. Amberly and Tamar are absolutely wonderful and I learn so much in every lesson. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy my lessons each week and look forward to them. My teachers are so knowledgeable, professional, engaging and incredibly talented, and although I initially had doubts about taking lessons online, my doubts quickly went away after a trial class, because with the sound for musicians option on for zoom, my teachers could hear my voice very clearly just like in-person. I would highly recommend both of my teachers and the website to everyone who ever considers beginning or continuing their music journey!
