• Assessing and preparing stress report for the deviations from all the kind of concessions of various components like Skin, Stringer, Clips, Frame and Brackets.

• Supported for static stress analysis of CDS structures both composites and metallic components.
• Experienced in composite standalone analysis such as Filled Hole, Corin (Unfolding), Notch sensitivity and Open Hole analysis.
• Performed Lug analysis (Hand-calculation).
• Experienced in performing the fastener loads extraction from DFEM by PATRAN.
• Done post processing work for various CDS components.

ASSIGNMENTS:

Project Name: Concessions of A350 XWB 900 (Fuselage Section 13/14).
Customer: Premium Aerotec, Augsburg, Germany.
Description: During production or manufacturing process any deviations which occurred on structural components like fastener pitch run-out, miss drill of oversize, tool handling damages like scratches, dents, and surface de-laminations in composite etc are recorded on defect tracking sheet (concession sheet) while inspection or on work itself.

These concession sheets are published over an Airbus SAP network to assess the damage or deviations. Then the work flows to stress and design team. Then new repair design solutions and its Technical Disposition (TD) will be generated. Then the stress assessment is carried out based on the type of the damage for the possible repair solution suggested from the design. If the new RF is satisfactory then the design solution will be implemented after the approval.

Finally the design solution drawing sheets and concession justification sheets will be prepared and published on Airbus SAP network for final approval. Once these are approved then the design solution is implemented.
Tools used:
ISAMI: Creating .czm file through GLA sheet, editing all kind of EO's, assembly and performing standalone analysis.
MSC.Patran/Nastran: Load extraction from DFEM, re-analysis according new design solution (Creating new Model, Mesh, applying its properties, Re-run with Nastran).
SAP: All activities from downloading Request for concessions sheets to Uploading justification sheets.

Project Name: Supported for sizing of Cargo Door Surroundings (CDS) of A350 XWB 900 MSN 00001 (Fuselage Section 13/14).
Customer: Premium Aerotec, Augsburg, Germany.
Description: CDS is one of the most complicated designs in the fuselage section 13/14. Because it's a biggest cut-out in this section of the right side. Here we need to calculate the RF in all the locations with different C & P stations and individual components.

Description:
Wing root attachment model is imported from Enovia, edited by CATIA V5, meshed and analysed using MSC.PATRAN&NASTRAN. Fastener points are constrained with the aid of rigid multi-body constraints (RBE2). Loads are taken from global aircraft model. FEM failure analysis is compared with experimental result.
Project Name 2: Installation of Rwrspu, Apsu & Ccu
Description:
It is Electrical & Avionics system installation consist of Structural Tray with Line Replacement Units (LRU's) like RWRSPU (Radar Warning Receiver Signal Processing Unit), APSU (Auxiliary Power Supply Unit) & CCU (Coding & Control Unit) installed in a Fighter Aircraft. The inertial load at the installation station in terms of g is taken and converted into force from known mass of above LRUS's. The calculated load is applied at Centre of Gravity point of the corresponding LRU and is transferred through RBE3 elements.


Project Name 1: Report Work for Composite Wing of a Morden Fighter Aircraft(FGFA)
Description:
A typical composite wing is run for critical load cases. Maximum stress failure theory is used for the analysis. Failure index results are extracted from the F06 result file using an in-house PYTHON program and converted to a CSV format, so that the failure index values of the selected elements can be compared for different load cases. This procedure includes finding of maximum failure index from sequence of ply's.
Duration: April 2011 to April 2012.
