Special Interest:

Satyajit Ray is a subject of great interest to me. I have an archival collection (audio, video and printed materials) and great deal of work on him. Mr. Sandip Ray after seeing my work regarded it as an extensive research work. Anything regarding him concerns me. The people at the Satyajit Ray Archive, Nandan, Calcutta and Mr. Nemai Ghosh (Ray's on-set photographer and pictorial biographer) appreciated my work. I have written features on the subject and happenings related to Satyajit Ray in The Statesman. (I would love to work on stories relating to this subject if assigned to me in future). Satyajit Ray is a great source of inspiration in my life.

I have special interest in the songs and works of Rabindranath Tagore. I have an archival collection on Rabindranath Tagore. Needless to mention Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul's songs are a great source of inspiration.
