I have been working as a surveyor in the National Land commission of Bhutan since 1982 and at present working with the Thimphu Municipality since 2006. In these years of my service to the Royal government, I have had opportunity to enhance my knowledge in the field of surveying and directly deal with land issues both in urban and rural areas. I assure that I have a good knowledge in operating the total station instrument to depict details in the field and downloading or uploading the data using liscad software and also working with autocad software. I also do have a little knowledge of Arc map through a short course attended in ITC, Netherlands. I also do have a very good communication skills in reading speaking and writing in english medium.

National Re-cadastral survey of the entire country
Although the land record of the entire country(Bhutan) was existing, the Royal government of Bhutan felt that it was very necessary to refine the land records of all the 20 districts of the country using latest technology such as Total station and GPS instruments to improve in accuracy of data. As such the huge project was started in 2008 by the National Land Commission, the apex body in the country in dealing with Land and property. I was also very actively involved in making the project successful specially in the Urban area of thimphu.
