Upgrade to TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Upgrade to TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

All Australian trainers responsible for the delivery of nationally recognised courses are required to upgrade their TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification to the new TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The upgrade must take place before July 1, 2013.

We know that the Australian VET industry is strongly committed to the principle of “continuous improvement”, and therefore, we expect (and welcome) the continuous refining and perfecting of the TAE training package.

The current TAE10 Training Package is now stable, but we know that we can expect changes in the future.

As a principal of Safecity Openlearning Network I made sure to have in place tools and resources to help our students to upgrade to the TAE40110 with minimum disruption to their training activities.

I know that for some of my students, having to undergo an assessment for an upgrade can be an emotional (sometimes even traumatic) experience, as well as a financial and personal inconvenience.

For this reason we offer all our students a streamlined (but ethical and accountable) upgrade package for the minimal fee of $150. The fee includes the assessing of the current qualifications. This is possible because we already have all the necessary details of our students in our student database, and we also have evidence of their competency on file.

Since we are fast approaching the July 1st 2013 deadline, I have designed a website that helps trainers self-assess their upgrade to TAE40110 readiness by answering questions posted on the website. On this site I am extending the same free resources and tools we offer our students. As an added free bonus, the TAE upgrade site includes a handy list of acronyms, terms and references used in the VET system--it is fast becoming a language of its own and it is important for all VET trainers to be familiar with these terms.

As a new customer you are eligible to receive a free preliminary assessment of your certificate with the click of a button.

All you have to do is click a button that helps you e-mail us a copy of your certificate--and we will do the rest. You will receive a free evaluation of the certificate with detailed information about upgrading to TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. If you decide to proceed you will only need to pay the nominal fee of $150--the same fee we charge our students.

TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Online Course

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a nationally recognised qualification listed in the Government Training Website. It is the ideal qualification for people who are interested in training groups of adults in the workplace.

If you are currently training and assessing, or conducting workplace inductions, you will love the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course. The curriculum was developed by the Australian government after years of research and consultation with industry experts, trainers and trainees.

Experienced trainers are eligible to apply for recognition of prior learning. To find out more about RPL and upgrading to TAE40110 visit the website below.

If you are skilled in your line of work and would like to become a trainer, the TAE40110 can make that happen for you. In Australia all trainers responsible for the delivery of nationally recognised courses must hold the TAE40110 qualification.

This qualification is a lifesaver for experienced workers who are made redundant. By attending the online course they are able to achieve the skills and qualification necessary to obtain jobs as trainers in their field of expertise.

There are no minimum entry requirements for this course, but you must be fluent in the English language and have some basic computer skills (two finger typing is ok!).

The skills you will learn in the TAE40110 course are transportable worldwide and are therefore ideal for trainers of multinational corporations. Australian educational qualifications are highly regarded overseas because of their quality and dependability.

I am passionate about Open Learning and Online Courses because they help people improve their quality of life and self-esteem. Many of our students are unable to attend regular classes because of life changes or work pressures—on line training gives them the opportunity to get better paying jobs and learn new skills.

The openlearning.edu.au site is the place to start. I designed this site to be as user friendly as possible and I am constantly working on improving it. See you there!
