• Analyzed physical and charge distribution data from blast furnace to prepare model that can help prevent hanging problem
• Mathematical Model gives coke and ore distribution profile inside Blast furnace of 4000 TPD at any time after charging
• Suggested three distribution pattern for charging ore and coke to Bhushan steel blast furnace team for better permeability
• Ristt Model for Bhushan Blast Furnace: - Model give the optimum coke rate and oxygen rate requirement for blast

Up to April 2013

• PVDF film changes alpha to beta phase (responsible for piezoelectric effect) when modified by montmorillonite clay addition
• Prepared composite PVDF polymer films with varying percentage of clay, which were characterized via XRD and FTIR
• Modified films in sensors used in tires, actuators, lightweight audio transducers
• We used films in tires for collecting energy from deformation of tires and stored them

• Departmental Lab course on "Mechanical Properties of Materials" - The lab involved testing of different materials like iron,
steel, aluminum, polymer (Teflon) etc. for various Mechanical Properties -fatigue, creep, hardness, strength etc. and familiarization of concepts like plastic anisotropy, effect of cold rolling, strain aging via several tests.
It also involved conducting impact test and tensile test for various materials
• Departmental Lab course on "Phase Equilibrium in Materials" - The lab provided good skills for sample preparation and study of various metals and alloys by observing their microstructure using optical micrograph and studying phase transformation
using thermocouples and other tools
• Core Lab course on "Manufacturing Processes" - The lab provided an enriching hand on experience with different types of moldings, welding, casting, and forging, sheet metal forming etc. and working on lathe, milling, shaping and drilling machine.
• Departmental Lab course on "Physical Metallurgy" - The laboratory techniques for studying phase transformation in materials
recrystallization and grain growth, eutectoid transformation in steels, harden ability tempering of martensite, conductivity of semiconductors, and conduction in ionic solids.

• Designed and fabricated a working model of a mechanical Drilling machine

• Involved the usage of lathe, Milling and Drilling Machine for different manufacturing processes in the manufacturing of the components and assembly of it
