Omotayo Siwoku Awi

Lagos, Nigeria

I am a Doctorate degree holder in Comparative Literature. It is about comparing literatures from various nations and cultures and how they are are influenced by history, contemporary issues, science, economy, cultures, social issues, collective psychology and individual perceptions and psychology. I have been doing research in Francophone literatures, with particular reference to feminist literature and its African variants of Stiwanism. womanism, negofeminism. feminitude and others. I have worked as a full-time translator and while I presently lecture french language and literature to tertiary students I still translate materials that appeal to me whose message and philosophy I wish to propagate, like the Christian faith of which I am a firm believer and preacher. I am on SkillPages because saw the advert in my box and I feel that I might get a contact that may be interested in my skills. Earning an extra income will enable me help my family more and make proper plan for my retirement. I write children's stories and books for French learners. I have been working on a detailed study of the Bible in English and French. I evangelize and I preach the Bible when I have an invitation to do so. More funds will help me go into publication of my scripts.
