Le Roux - Minister - Vredenburg, South Africa

Olivia Le Roux

Vredenburg, South Africa

In response to the call to Word & Sacrament, I am ordained as a Minister in the Methodist Church of Southern Africa on the West Coast. I serve God's people in the Langebaan and surrounding areas, Vredenburg and the vicinity and added to that Velddrif and adjacent town.
Local ministry has led me to respond with God's people to the need of God's people. A creche in Vredenburg was established when we heard the cry of the children of our community.\
As an instrument and an oracle to the people of the community I availed myself to further ministry in becoming a presenter at Radio West Coast to daily minister to children in the mornings, to update the community with activities and to read the news. This ministry extended to a Sunday evening where the community could listen to the word of God being preached and worship music played.
I am God's instrument, a humble maiden in the hands of my Creator God.
The world is my parish and I go where God sends me ...even to the uttermost parts of the earth. It's by the grace of God that I go day by day.
