Customer Service, training new employees, styling--I always found customers intrigued by my honesty with them, often people are used to sales associates shoving ideas down their throat of what they should buy. I found the best method to being a sales associate was telling people not to buy something they didn't love, and that's what I did. Not only that but, offering genuine support to customers and a warm smile goes a long way, people are able to read us better then we assume. Going out of my way to stay with one customer for a prolonged amount of time kept many customers coming back to my store just to have help from me.
