Summary

I am a Finance Officer currently working with PNG Economic Public Sector Program. I look after all Adviser Mini Budget accounts. That is:
- Liaise with Adviser to ensure monthly acquittals are submitted by due date
- Ensure appropriate & sufficient documents has been provided each month and all include appropriate spending
- Acquittals reconcile to bank statement
- Ensure Expenditure is recorded accurately in line with monthly reporting
- Process expenditure into QuickBooks and verify acquittal reports to QuickBook report
- Ensure Deputy Team Leaders verify and approve expenditure on a monthly basis
- Forward updated template to advisers for the following month
- Ensure all demobilising advisers adhere to operating account closure requirements

PROVIDE GENERAL SUPPORT TO FINANCE DEPARTMENT:
- Process all payments/Receipts/Electronic Transfers into QuickBooks Accounting System
- Provide ongoing support to advisers in all aspects of finance as required
- Provide ongoing support to advisers in all aspects of finance as required
- Provide any other assistance or support as requested by the Operation Manger

ESTABLISHMENT;
- Arrange documentations for the establishment of new accounts as required
- Conduct Adviser Finance briefing on budgeting and acquittal process
- Ensure operating account balances are sufficient at month end and arrange a transfer of funds if there are insufficient funds in the accounts
