Biomedical Scientist

I have worked as a fully qualified Biomedical Scientist (Lab tech) for seven years, within the areas of haematology and blood transfusion.I am very familiar with the patient database system Cerner Millennium. I am very enthusiastic about working within the clinical laboratory on implementing existing work procedures according to guidelines and in finding new novel ways to make the identification process more reliable and efficient. Due to my experience with working within a team, I am open to suggestions and take on board anything people may offer. I am also familiar with working long hours, due to on call duties and working alone within those over night hours. Working within the clinical laboratory I have obtained the knowledge and respect of how important quality assurance is, within a patient processing area.
