Archaeologist And Lecturer Tour Guide
There are two aspects in my life, one as an archaeologist and another as a tour guide.
In fact I began my studies in Athens, at the National university, in the then called Faculty of Philosophy, Department of History and Archaeology.
I continued in London with a Master of Arts degree from the University College, my thesis being on the Crusades and Byzantine Art.
Later I returned to Athens and graduated from the National College of Tour Guides.
This last diploma enabled me to contact many visitors from various nationalities and gave me the chance to share my knowledge with people who are interested in Greek culture.
My basic talent is my ability to explain and transmit information about works of art, historical accounts , modern customs of Greece using vivid comparisons, plain but meaningful expressions that attract the interest of the average visitor who is not necessarily familiar with issues of art and history. This ability has been promoted through years of contact with multiple cultures, languages and attitudes of people I have met and guided in five languages.
