I've been working for different practises as from 2004 until presently. My duties are to answer telephone, filing, dealing with clients and making quiries into medical aids, invoicing, data capturer, doing appointments via email. I did management assistant course N6 which I completed in 2002 doing the following subjects: Computer practice, Office practice, Communications and Information processing. I have knowledge of computer Microsoft word and Excell, know how to answer telephone and I've been dealing with different kinds of people in this industry as I've also done communications and the practical that I did at school helped me a lot and I've gained a lot of experience.
I've been working for Eyesense for a year now started in June 2012 after the optometrist that i've worked for before closed and the Optom of Eyesense called me for the job just because i have experience. I'm helping clients who came to make spectacles, check with their medical aids online or call the call centre, help them choose suitable frames, taking personal information e.g. home address, contact no's etc. After they've seen the doctor I count the total amount and tell them. Make order of their glasses, capture the information into the computer, filling when I'm finished with the file, send them an sms when their spectacles are ready. Making appointments via email, taking minutes during our staff meetings. Print Audit trial every month end to see who is still owing the practise and remind them about their balances by sms or by calling them and doing spreadsheet every month end and enter to excell so that we can count or see how many clients we met on that month. Answering telephone and all other receptionist duties.
