Over the last 13 years, attorney Noelle Maloney has amassed a distinguished record of federal service. In July 2008, Ms. Maloney was named Deputy Inspector General of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In this role, she oversees the agency’s Office of Audits and Office of Investigations, including personally investigating such allegations as employee misconduct, whistleblower complaints, and fraud charges. Noelle Maloney also spearheaded Office's strategic planning and emergency continuity of operations planning, and managed staff and operations. In addition, she drafted and implemented policy and handled budgetary and financial duties.

After joining the SEC in 2005 as Senior Counsel, Ms. Maloney was named theDeputy Inspector General in the OIG. In the latter capacity, she and the former Inspector General interviewed white-collar criminal Bernard L. Madoff at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York in 2009, an enlightening experience. Prior to joining the agency, Noelle Maloney acted as the Director of Public Information and Policy and as Acting Deputy Director for Management of the Peace Corps. She began her career in the federal realm as a Supervisory Management Analyst at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In the private sector, Noelle Maloney honed her legal skills as an Associate Attorney at Sterns & Weinroth, P.C., in Trenton, New Jersey.
