DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Review of WPS and PQR as per project specification
➢ Familiar with MT, PT, UT, RT & film interpretation.
➢ To follow all quality control procedure, inspection and test plan.
➢ Checking joint fit-up & Monitoring and controlling welding consumables.
➢ Reviewing filler wires and electrodes of welding procedure specification.
➢ Qualification and performance monitoring of welding personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Review of contractor's WPS / PQR prior to start of welding activities & Punch list meeting with client to resolve construction issues.
➢ Co-ordination with pipe stress Analyst such as piping stress calculation at different conditions connecting with corresponding equipments & discuss with clients
➢ Responsible for review the designed Special Pipe supports, Standard Pipe Supports, Steel Structural Supports and Modifications.
➢ Welding surveillance prior to Inspect the joint preparation, joint configuration and cleanliness. Verify use of pre-heat as specified and the use of approved welding procedure specification. Visual examination of root passes for proper procedure. Ensure that welders use assigned identification stamps.
➢ Witnessing Non-destructive examinations, Verify test results of all NDT documents, reviewing radiographic films.
➢ Reviewing Line history sheet and ensure that all required NDE examinations shall be performed prior to final system hydro testing unless otherwise specified by engineering.

➢ Contacting Internal Audit & Verifiying QC documents.
➢ Inspecting the incoming materials for damages, dimensions and corrosions and ensure that MTC is available and according to the requirements. Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.
