I am currently with Eco Services Graduate Development Programme.
So far, we have covered;
Environmental Management- We were tasked to do audits, which we did following the ISO:14001 (EMS) and were assigned EMMP elements to develop and implement, elements I am in charge of are: R22_GHG, Sewage Treatment, and Freshwater Assessments.
Environmental Monitoring- We developed our elements to meet and comply with their Environmental Permits and Industry Standards.
Highlight, was the establishment of our Hydrology Station Slackline Cableway at Laloki River.
Occupational Health Safety- We were in first week of induction introduced and had lessons on OHS where we were tasked to comply with the Mine Safety Act, through the entering of our BBOs, Hazard Ids, and Take 5 in their respective data tools in excel.
Highlight, was it further enhanced to us the importance of safety in any organisation.
Involved in Audits, Project Approvals, establishing Environmental Management Systems, developing and implementing monitoring programs, risk management, and assisting in the mentoring of young people.
