I was given the opportunity to work within various childcare settings, such as Day Nurseries employed as a Nursery Nurse and Schools employed as a Teaching Assistant. My duties entailed of supporting small groups of children, who required additional academic support. I assisted the teacher to set homework and marking books. As well as being involved in organising before and after school clubs. Supporting children with homework and playing games/outings to encourage positive lifestyle outcomes. Furthermore planning, implementing planned sessions and creating personal learning journals.
