Team Leader


I am a very hard worker and work well in a team, although I do not have the qualifications to prove it, I have always had good leadership skills. In both Primary school and High school, I was a Prefect and I was voted "Most Loveable" in my Matric year. As I have mentioned, I dream of running my very own restaurant, as it combines all my skills; cooking, creating, socialising and leadership.

I have not had much experience as a manager, however, people very quickly pick up that I am a very hard worker and dedicate most of my energy and effort into the work I do. Unfortunately, in both of my managerial positions, I was not paid accordingly, however I have gained a lot of knowledge. I would love to have the opportunity to work my way up in a company, as I am a fast learner.

Description: I was employed as a temporary Manager/Driver for my father's Pond Construction and Maintenance company. I was entrusted with a company car to travel to clients all over Cape Town.

I was responsible for managing staff members, ensuring all staff duties were performed correctly, liaised with clients on behalf of the company, promoted
company products and assisted in sales, as well as various other administrative duties whilst at the office.

I improved on my management skills and thoroughly enjoyed driving.


La Vie Cafe Bar

Description: After three months of being a Waitress, the owners recognised my aptitude and ambition and thus promoted me to Manager.

I continued my regular tasks as a waitress, with the added responsibilities of managing staff, resolving disputes, correspondence with ownership, day-end settlement of accounts and handling of all front-of-house dealings.

This taught me the controlled management of staff directly under my supervision, telephonic skills, maintaining stock and cash flow and appropriate opening and closing procedures.

As of February 2013, I resumed my position as Waitress, as it provided more income.
