Aside from obtaining my bachelor degree in microbiology, with excellent scores and an outstanding bachelor thesis, I actively took part in several seminars and congresses.
Moreover, I was an active member in "Tehran’s University Biology Association", which is a student association for gathering extra information about scientific topics, specifically Biology, followed by publishing them within the university.
Additionally, I worked, either independently or in a group, in several laboratories in different fields such as Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular and cellular biology.

Internship at Bacteriology laboratory

Pasteur Institute of Tehran

I gained so much experience and learned several cultural and molecular techniques in Pasteur institute in the Bacteriology section of Pastor’s Institute, which is one the most valid and reliable scientific institutes of Iran. Besides, I well proved my ability to precisely follow protocols, to learn various techniques and to work individually or as a team in several laboratories.

Predominant fecal microbiota of captive adult cheetahs housed in European zoos: a cross-sectional st

This project, which was my master thesis, went over the gut microbiota in captive cheetahs in different zoos. We aimed to explore whether a core microbiota exists in the intestine of captive cheetahs by using several techniques in the lab followed by data analysis. This project included several culture-dependent and culture-independent techniques such as homogenization, DNA extraction, PCR, DGGE, sequencing, sequencing PCR, etc. Performing techniques, research and data analysis were important parts of this project.
