In Financial statements I understand the key concepts and principles underlying the preparation of financial statements using IFRS and SMEs, prepare the financial statements of a company as well as appropriate notes to such statements. I can identify the differences between Job Costing and Process Costing, calculate the profit or loss of a job, prepare manufacturing accounts and differentiate between work-in-progress and finished goods. In a Computerised bookkeeping I can create subsidiary journals in a Microsoft Excel and demonstrate how spreadsheet software is used to complete monthly bookkeeping on a computer, create a new company in a computer, prepare manual bookkeeping using Pastel.
