School Guidance Counsellor
From March 2012
School Guidance Counsellor. I am available to see students, families and staff; individually, with friends or groups. I offer mediation and restorative conference processes in addition to therapy and social service, crisis intervention, assessment and referral to external youth mental health services.
From May 2010
I offer counselling, clinical supervision, group facilitation, mediation and training through my part-time private practice based in Westmere, Auckland.
Peer Educators Project
Recruiting and training a group of secondary students to offer peer-education and support to fellow students. The project addresses a wide range of issues facing young people - drugs and alcohol, sexuality and intimate relationships, mediation and conflict resolution, etc.
Identifying and matching students who find themselves on the social fringe or without friendship support with self-volunteering peers as "friends".
