Job description and Responsibilities
Responsible for the commercial management of the contract at all stages whilst reducing risk and increasing profitability.
Preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts with the client's representative.
Agreement of the valuation of any variations.
Preparation and disruption of Tenders to Sub-contractors.
Preparation of sub-contract agreements.
Procurement of sub-contract packages
Checking of sub-contractors interim and final account applications and preparation of associated payments
Cost control and preparation of periodic financial reconciliations, reports and forecasts
Dealing with correspondence in relation to commercial and contractual issues
Liaison with site management, accounts and other members of the project team to obtain information and keep interested parties informed
Promotion of the company to clients and other professionals in a positive manner in order to assist the procurement of further work opportunities.
Listening to staff problems and resolving in accordance with company policy.
Leading the project team to ensure contractual matters and procedures are correctly dealt with and introducing new procures where necessary to increase efficiency.
Dealing with claims promptly as and when they arise in a timely and professional manner through forming close relationships with the clients representatives.
I have the ability to work under pressure and achieve results whilst satisfying the clients demands to deliver projects on time and within budgets and maintaining quality.
I am now searching for a new challenge at a senior level which will suit my experience and qualification.
