POSTION - Truck Driver


December 1999 - November 2000

Commenced employment as truck driver reporting to Darren Nicoles the Operations Manager. This position involved delivery of frozen and fresh produce, and general freight locally in Auckland and line haul between Auckland and Tauranga or Wellington, return. Additional duties included loading and unloading, truck maintenance and cleaning. the position involved using a Volvo FH 12 and b double combination.
Reason for leaving - Position became redundant as company went into receivership.

Attended The Army School of Transport in March 1986 where Obtained ECN109. This entailed the operation of land rovers, Unimogs, Mark V's and 22 tonne 6 wheel Macks. Configuration including dump truck, flatbed with 20 tonne plant trailer and various truck-mounted cranes. Also assorted tankers and bridge laying vehicles.

Position - Engineer Plant Operator
I attended the Military School of Engineering in February in February 1998 where I obtained ECN270, Plant Operator First Class. This position entailed the operation of various plant machines including Front End Loaders, graders, bulldozers, scrapers, trackscavators, forklifts, backhoes and various drum and multi-wheeled rollers for numerous plant tasks.
Reason for leaving - Personal reasons.
