On-Job-Training as part of completion of my enrolment at the Colliery Training College to obtain my Permanent Blasting Certificate as well as the completion of my Practical Training which forms part of the National Diploma at the University of Johannesburg.

Anglo Greenside Colliery

May 2012 - November 2012

Enrolled as a underground learner at the Colliery Training College in order to obtain my Permanent Blasting Certificate. Conventional Cutting and Blasting Operations were undertaken where I formed part of a team or leaded a team involved in every individual cycle in the section during the course of training. I obtained my Permanent Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines in May 2014.

Matla Coal

December 2011 - January 2012

Create a blending ratio of the coal arriving at the sorting and stacking plant from the 3 individual shafts at the mine. A requirement of 15MJ/kg grade needed to be met and associated stockpiling and import from stockpile was taken into consideration. This was a Vacation work Project.
