Clinical History:
As part of my degree I have completed placements in different clinical specialities including muscoskeletal, respiratory, stroke, paediatrics and care of the elderly. During these placements I provided treatment for both inpatient and outpatients and was responsible for managing my own patient case load and I received very positive feedback from senior staff. During this time I furthered my clinical reasoning abilities and used my time effectively to research conditions I had not treated previously. Since graduation I have volunteered at a local nursing home assisting another physiotherapist with a busy caseload to help me gain experience in a very competitive profession. I am currently working in primary care and enjoying the challenges that this presents. I have also worked at the Belfast City Marathon as well as working with my local GAA and rugby teams treating various sports injuries as well as offering pitch-side first aid.

Interests and Achievements:
I enjoy experiencing new cultures and have travelled extensively through Europe, Asia and Australia while also completing my elective placement in a paediatrics department in Malaysia. I am quite an active person and enjoy playing basketball, attempting to surf as well as swimming especially in the sea when the weather permits. I have gained certificates in first-aid, sports traumatology, sports taping and kinesiotaping, computer skills and completed a diploma in CPD running concurrently with my university degree. I have finished level 1 of my Dry Needling course and am awaiting training in pilates.
