Identify the major engineering losses in area and investigates using Kaizen problem solving methodology (Fishbone, 5 Why).
Complete all required documentation to TPM standards.
Implement and assist with maintaining Unilever safety and 5S standards in the area of responsibility.
Draw up, Coach and develop engineering skills to other maintenance and operational staff using OPL and Sop’s.
Assist with all projects in works area in terms of all pre project work and attending F.A.T for testing before shipping and commencing of installation.
Managing contractors on a day to day basis in terms of all safety aspects, method statements, progress and all extra requirements for installation.
Assist with project time line and keep project engineer informed with all related issues, project deviations and possible solutions.
Assist with installation and commissioning of all machinery related to projects.

Manage maintenance requirements in area in terms of planned maintenance, spares required and maintenance duration times and schedules.
