Summary:

Manages and directs a Materials Department staff and
Warehouse Manager; oversees a staff of (63) expat employees
and (83) Subcontract Workers at 5 locations at Iraq USMI-
Central as well as 4 REO's (Al-Hilla,Basrah,Kirkuk and
Kuwait). Accountable for all Material Operations to include but
not limited to Shipping and Receiving, Inventory Control,
Material Requisition processes and approvals. Responsible for
the development of Materials plans, policies, and procedures
necessary to provide support in the Materials areas of supply,
transportation, maintenance, Inventory and services as described
in LOGCAP Contract # DAAA09-02-D-0007, Kellogg, Brown
and Root's approved Federal Government Property Control
Procedures (PCP), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
clause 52.245-5AR, FAR Subpart 45.5 and DOD FAR
Supplement (DFARS) part 245. Works with the Functional Area
Manager/Iraq and Client(Department of State) to implement and
monitor the Materials and Warehouse programs to ensure
compliance with company and government policies and procedures.

conferring with others to determine requirements to identify overdue
materials and to track material.
Supervises Materials Department staff of (5) expat employees, (75)
OCN’s and (42) Subcontract Workers at Shank RDC Materials.
Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates
according to priorities and material availability.
Ensures that subordinate employees are performing work according to
contractual obligations and company policies.
Arranges transfer of materials to meet schedules.
Computes amount of material required to complete jobs.
Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as
material inventory, in-process reports, and status and location of
materials.
Responsible for all material actions throughout the SHANK AO and
directly reports to RDC and Theater MaterialsManagement

Manage all record keeping, document preparation, reporting functions of reconciliation report, monthly average of processed requisition. Interface between Materials Controls office and other departments for problem resolution; Acting Materials Manager while Manger is off site; which includes monitoring all areas of support and 32 personnel onsite. Review Material Requisitions for accuracy, completeness, approvals and other required specifications. Monitor all Warehouse acitivities. Responsible for Materials Requisition processing, tracking and
checking thru ICS and MOPI program. Was responsible for support
US Troop level of 3000. Supervised 12 LN employees that included
Class IX Warehouse with 4000 line items, Class I,II,& IV Warehouse
with 1200 line items, and O&M Warehouse 2000 line items. Interface
with the client daily i.e MCT, BSB, and ACO on contingency plan
for logisitical support.
Review all Turn-in, issues and receiving documentation.
Processed deliveries as required, loads and supervised loading
and unloading the trucks.
Responsible for receiving and storing equipment, materials and supplies.
Compiled data for reports, documents and health-safety regulations
in Materials department.
Conducted annual and semi annual inventories of stock on hand.
