SustainAbilities Training Project

Lead full life-cycle educational project management, training and development, stakeholder relations and budgeting for the SustainAbilities Essential Skills project in Fort McMurray. The objective of this project is to assess and train over 4000 people in three Essential Skills within the Wood Buffalo region over five years.
Project Management
o Partner with stakeholders to develop/implement a training philosophy and training model
o Improve operations by developing detailed procedure manual for all aspects of multi-faceted project
o Ensure marketing; brochures, one page overviews, video clips, PowerPoint presentations are in alignment with industry values and project funder objectives
o Build and strengthen relationships with industry partners and community through delivery of SustainAbilities project information sessions
o Liaise and collaborate with service partners (Data Angel, Municipal, Provincial, and Federal Governments, Keyano College, The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Careers The Next Generation) to ensure smooth delivery of training project
Training and Development
o Oversee creation of train-the-trainer programs and trainer evaluation/quality assurance standards
o Lead post-training data collection and monitoring of literacy outcome assessments and surveys

Led and supported the F5 committee and advisory panel to achieve four successful years of speaker series/leadership events that supported a wide demographic of women leaders. Envisioned and achieved the expansion of this national speaker series to include international speakers, while facilitating learning/mentoring embedded/supported by the community. Strategized succession planning to ensure the series would continue to grow and prosper with a new Chair.
