This is a Telecom Project and BT is one of Major Telecom Company in UNITED KINGDOM. It is one of the most prestigious AM/FM Telecom conversion project. In this project client will supply maps like PMA, Duct, PCD, Cables & vector data. We have to capture the features of outside plant items and assign their related attributes in conversion into digital format.
Finally data will be exported as XML format, in order to be translated into the Target (Network Engineer) Platform at client's location. We have taken references as Plan on Map (PMA) and True to Scale (TTS); Ordinance Survey maps (OSM). Duct Maps, which deals geographical representation of jointing chambers line concentrates, Primary Cross Points, Secondary Cross-Points, Kiosks, Joint box Manholes, Details information for route cabling from Exchange to Exchange.
This project deals with the distribution of end-to-end pair connectivity (Exchange to customers) by using BT supplied sources like CSS, MDF and Raster maps. The converted data sent in XML format and this XML data loading into Network Engineer for validation.
