Excellus is a non-profit health insurer headquartered in Rochester, New York. The primary business of Excellus is to provide health insurance based on plans chosen by the members.

The project taken up by Cognizant is a "transformation project". Excellus initially maintained and processed its data in different databases for different regions in New York State. As maintenance and processing of data in these databases became difficult, Excellus decided to move all the data into one database called "ifacets". During this process of transformation, "gaps" and "fit" are being identified, developed and tested. Our project is basically testing of these "gaps" and "fit".

• Involved in the preparation of test plan
• Prepared Test scenarios and Test cases
• Uploaded test cases and executed Test cases in RQM (Rational Quality Manager)
• Logging and Retesting the defects in Clear Quest
• Preparation of Root Cause Analysis for defects
• Involved in critical modules like Claim processing, Member & Billing, Alternate funding
• Executed System Integration testing along with other modules.
• Involved in C20 Metrics.

CVTY A498 Prompt Pay

Coventry has generated new and updated processes that will be used to calculate interest and/or penalty on late Prompt Pay claims. This will apply to all MO Prompt Pay claims when manual intervention is not used. The Prompt Pay database will be used for any cumulative claim linking or aging.

The scope of the project is to modify the current IDX functionality to allow for the calculation of a penalty, when appropriate, that would be in addition to the current Prompt Pay Interest, and Create the ability to track previously denied and resubmitted claims. Incorporate days from previously submitted claims into the grace period calculation. Adapt the current IDX functionality to calculate the Prompt Pay penalty for claims denied after the appropriate grace period

The aim of this project gives the functionality overview of SPIIS for inventory control in the overall business structure of Schering plough. It covers the basic understanding of the utilization of SPIIS application covering the phases which leads to sophisticated production and there delivery to the intended destination.

Enhancing the current SPIIS (Schering Plough International Information Services) application and also resolving issues.

JP Morgan Chase uses the Clearance and Collateral Management System (CCMS) as a part of the Institutional Trust Services. CCMS Managed ACRS is part of ITS Application Management. As part of Managed ACRS project we work on the minor and major enhancements based on the requirement from the end user. For completion of these change requests we fallow complete SDLC (Software development life cycle).
