One of Adelaide's leading Sexual Abuse & Domestic Violence Prevention support services for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Working within a team of 10 Peer Educators, we were involved with supporting up to 30 High School students at any one time, presenting issues and preventative measures for sexual abuse and domestic violence. Issues and topics discussed ranged from the definitions and types of sexual abuse, domestic violence, the benefits of team work and cohesiveness, relationship building exercises, drug abuse, prevention and peer pressure.
