Work History

London Consultant

July 2014 - August 2014

MYTRND is an online fashion retailer based in Denmark that hired me to represent them in London in the time
leading up to the launch of their new "Guest Designer Concept" website. My main responsibility was to sign up businesses to this website.
Duties: Independently researching businesses and locations in London and identifying which may be suitable;
approaching these businesses either in person or via email or phone; explaining the details of the website and outlining the benefits of involvement; photographing locations for the website; keeping an account of personal
expenditure and earnings; uploading information to the database and bridging the gap between clients in
London and HQ in Copenhagen. I particularly enjoyed the creative thinking that this job required, for example,
deciding to contact art galleries and cafés as well as boutiques which created a more diverse and interesting
selection of businesses to add to the uniqueness and appeal of this venture.

Bar Tender (temp)

The Lamb

November 2013 - May 2014

Bar Tender (temp)

December 2012 - August 2013

Bar Supervisor

The Crown

April 2010 - October 2012

Duties: Serving customers; setting up the bar; taking bookings; working alongside the kitchen staff and serving
food; having an up to date knowledge of all the products available including food, wine, ales, cocktails and coffee; taking deliveries; completing health and safety checklists; changing barrels; training new staff; stock
control; reducing wastage; maintaining a positive relationship with all staff; team building activities and working towards targets. I particularly enjoyed the social and physical aspects of this job.

Sales Assistant

July 2007 - March 2010

Duties: handling payment transactions and refunds; cashing up at the end of the day; making orders; stock
check and replenishment; setting up displays and dealing with customers' queries. As my first proper job, I
gained lots of valuable experience here and was, therefore, sad to see the shop close down when the company
was made bankrupt.
