I have been working in construction as a Quality & Systems Manager, since 1993, working in both corporate and project roles. I am an expert in the establishment of systems, project start up, ongoing compliance management, auditing, handover and completions, having managed very large teams on major projects.

The Gateway Motorway South project is a design and construct project, established to deliver an upgrade and extension of the Gateway Motorway Southbound onramp to the Pacific Motorway, which involves the realignment of the existing southbound Gateway Motorway onramp to the Pacific Motorway. The SEBX (South East Busway Extension) works involved extension of the Busway from Eight Mile Plains Busway Station to School Road.

Responsibilities include:
• Member of the Project Management Team (PMT)
• Primarily responsible for Quality, Safety, Environment and Systems
• The development, implementation and management of the Project Management System;
• Establishment and Implementation of the Quality Management System (QESE) and Safety System (Enablon);
• Agreement of level of verification between TMR, Principals Representative (SMEC) and the Project itself
• Training of workforce and staff (i.e. Cert III and Cert IV, safety and site competency training)

The Ipswich Motorway Upgrade is a key infrastructure initiative that will provide a safer, more reliable and sustainable transport solution for the Western Corridor and South East Queensland's wider transport network. Main Roads will upgrade an eight kilometre stretch of the Ipswich Motorway between Dinmore and Goodna.
This will:
• Improve safety
• Ease congestion and
• Enhance the local transport network.
The project will widen the motorway to a minimum of six lanes (three lanes in each direction) and construct new service roads to cater for local traffic. The project also includes an upgrade of the interchanges at the Cunningham and Warrego highways and the Redbank Interchange. The upgrade will provide increased access to public transport and facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.
By making the best use of the existing road network this project will provide the community with an integrated and sustainable transport solution.

Responsibilities include:
• Member of the Alliance Management Team (AMT)
• Ongoing development, implementation and management of the Alliance Management System;
• Establishment and Implementation of the Quality Management System (QESE);
• Agreement of level of verification between DMR, the Independent Verifier and the Alliance
