Anaerobic digestion

Anaerobic digestion, in one form or another, has been a sustainable resource of rural life for thousands of years. The use of food and animal waste in cooking and heating has been, and continues to be, a reliable and necessary survival tool globally. As such, the question is raised as to why a more modernised and efficient form of the process is not common place in the rural United Kingdom.
