Responsible for the design & construction supervision of a large water supply project in Oromiya Regional State arsi Zone ( 9 Woredas ) water supply project from 3 collected springs and bore hole ( Ameraba Indato water supply project) it is single and the largest water supply project in the region. This project involves the feasibility, pre-design, detailed draft design, BOQ, Drawing albums, Preparing Tender Documents of the potable water supply
Construction supervision facilities required to meet urban and rural area of the project water demand. Facilities include over 400km of supply and distribution lines, potable water reservoirs & various structures.
Collecting Surveying data's for the best economical route
Data collection concerning population distribution, water demand and land use categories of project area.
Utilising computerised hydraulic modelling software Water cad, AutoCAD, Global Mapper Arc view & GIS.
Design/drafting of the mechanical, architectural, and structural components of the Distribution & Transmission: Spring Capping Structures, Boreholes, Ponds, Cattle Troughs, Water Points, Reservoirs, Break Pressures, Collection Chambers(Wet Wells), Pump & Generator Houses, Opereter dweling, Manager dwelind, Guard House, VIP Latrine and valve chambers, etc.
To undertake the overall supervision and coordination activities of the project in the site

Fixing and checking of design bed level for construction of pipe lines.
Checking of bedding works.

Documentation of site documents & data.
Approval of the weekly plan of the contractor.
Payment approval for the month.
Provision of work order for contractor Approval of the daily and weekly reports of the contractor.
Discussion with Werede administrative bodies on how to facilitate the activities.
Revise profile drawings of the contract to meet actual site condition and minimize constraints during construction.

HINJA BURKITU WATER SUPPLY PROJECT

The project area is situated at a distance of about 250km from Addis Ababa. Geographically, the project is located at 39013’-39023’E and 7009’-7018’N and has altitude range of 2600 - 2700m amsl.

This project consists of construction of one 500m3, one 300m3, three 10m3 break pressure tanks, 107 water points, 20 cattle troughs, 10km rising main (from boreholes to reservoirs), about 130km distribution net work, auxiliary buildings (office, store & work shop), access road and camp construction. Armena, Horra, Hinja Ela, Hinja Kongiti, Hinja Burkitu, Negele Sigalo, Kakawa and Ensemana kebeles in Gedeb Asasa Woreda and Hargisa Kebele in Limu and Bilbilo Woreda are gandas expected to be served from this project.

The project area is situated at a distance of about 225 km South-East of Finfinne along the Finfinne –Arsi-Robe road. Geographically, the project is located at 7030’_ 7056’N and longitude 39033’ _ 40003’E and has an altitude range of 2308.55 - 2816.7 masl.
